BunaÍodh Craobh Phádraig Mhic Piarais i nGlaschú i 1895, an chéad chraobh taobh amuigh d’Éirinn. BhÍ tráth ann agus bhÍ 14 chraobh de Chonradh na Gaeilge sa chathair. An lá atá inniu ann, nÍl ann ach craobh amháin agus Í faoi rath agus faoi bhláth agus ag cur ar aghaidh na Gaeilge agus cultúr na hÉireann in Glaschú go fóill.

The Patrick Pearse branch of The Gaelic League was established in Glasgow in 1895 and was the first branch to be founded outside of Ireland. Of the 14 branches that once existed throughout the city, the Pádraig Pearse branch is still alive and flourishing and has been promoting the Irish Langauge and Irish culture in the city and beyond for the past 115 years.
