I’ve reasoned out what my name would probably be–spelling wise–as Gaeilge. I personally like the new spelling of my first name since everyone always wonders about the “Ch” anyway. Just using an “s” makes it much simpler. And if people don’t know to pronounce the “s” as an “sh” sound before the “é” then that’s an opportunity to educate them about it. 🙂 I don’t know if I’ll end up legally changing my name spelling to that but I definately like using it in most situations.
