Séril Báicéir

I didn’t know if there would be a dialect present, but I just noticed throughout the book that certain words were used more than others that would give the same meaning. I’m working through the book slowly to build up my vocabulary and I plan on rereading it after I’m all the way through and have studied the vocab that I wrote down on the side. Perhaps I’ll spot these sentences I saw again then and be able to post them and ask about them.

Of course, there is the possibility that certain words got chosen over others just as an artistic license by the author just for the sound of it or to keep from having repetitive phrases… I know that people do that in English so it makes sense that authors would do that in Gaeilge as well.
