    It wasn’t part of your original question, but I figured it would be worth noting, since we’re talking about basic year expressions.

    19th century = naoú haois déag
    20th century = fichíu haois
    21st century = aonú haois is fiche

    And by the way Séril, you can start off the sentence with:

    “Is é an lá inniu …” or just “Inniu …”, they’re both right.

    20th century = fichíu haois

    Is this a typo? Shouldn’t it be fichiú?

    Yeah, sorry for the confusion. I type really fast and sometimes the accent ends up on the wrong letter 😉
