Hi !

I am new. I come from Poland.

In the beginning I’d like to ask you about Irish uncial alphabet.
Is the name of the city Corcaigh spelled in the end with ‘gh’ or ‘g’ with a dot over it ?
I hope you understand my question.

Thank you for your answer.

In the Gaelic script, “gh” is written with a g with a dot over it.

You can see at the end of the first word here:

(which is “chuaigh”).

Yes, but for some reason the g+dot I see on my screen isn’t the real Gaelic script “g” (I dunno if it’s normal)

I’d like to write in Gaelic script, but I don’t have the right font.
What should I do to write in Gaelic script ?
Where can I find the letters ?

Download the one you want and drag it from where you’ve downloaded it into the “fonts” folder (you can find it in the Windows control panel).

This is a language learning forum, not a technical support one. I suggest you use Google or Bing or the search engine of your choice to look up step-by-step instructions for installing new fonts in Windows XP.
