Difference between four sets of words

does anybody know the difference in meaning between the following sets of words (or part of them):
-“dó” and “loscadh” (“to burn”)
-“ní” and “rud”: “thing”?
-“ina cóir” and “ina shon”: “for him”?
-“in aghaidh” and “i gcoinne” (against)?
