I am involved in EMS (emergency medical services) and sometimes the latin phrase “ex his manibus salus” is used as a slogan.
Usually it is translated as ‘from these hands comes salvation/health’ in english.
I have made shirts with this on it, and am in the process of having shirts made for St. Patrick’s day, is there anyone here who could help translate this into Irish that conveys the same message?

That’s a hard one. Don’t know if you could say something like “seo an lámh bhisigh”?

The only place I have seen bisigh used as an adjective is
    bliain bhisigh – leap year.

Ní raibh, ach bheadh ciall leis.

Scríobh mé “na lámha” (éiginnte) mar gur scata a bheadh i gceist seachas duine aonair.

Bheadh ciall leis sin ar t-léine ceart go leor, ach sílim go mbíonn an mana ar Otharchairr & araile freisin.

Cinnte: ach má tá “na lámha seo” maith go leor do Bhíobla Má Nuad, tá sé maith go leor domsa!
    😉

I can’t find fault with aonghus’s original suggestion.

I feel it would somehow sound more “Irish” to leave “hands” out of it altogether. What about “Muide a thabhairfaidh sla/n thu/” (WE will save you)? After all, it’s an emergency service.

Sorry about the absence of diacritics!

However, the “hands” is really an integral part of the original slogan. It’s actually the one word I WOULDN’T leave out if I were rendering it in a different language…
