A chairde,
Is oth linn a rá nach féidir linn dul go Esopus ar an deireadh seachtaine. Tá an stoirm sneachta fós ar siúil, agus ní bheidh siad réidh dhúinn ar chor ar bith. Caithfidh muid an Deireadh Seachtaine Gaeilge agus Ceardlann na Múinteoirí a chur ar ceal.
This is the first time in 34 years that we’ve had to cancel a program because of snow (hurricanes don’t count), but Marist made the call based on safety concerns. We certainly could not argue the point. Mike Trainor, the facilities director at Marist, said this is the worst he’s ever seen it there. Both the Immersion Weekend and Ceardlann na Múinteoirí have been canceled
We are trying to notify all of the registrants in advance, of course. If you know of anyone who intended to attend who does not have email (or electricity) please let them know the situation. Go raibh maith agat.
Tá an-bhrón orm nach mbeidh muid le chéile ar an Deireadh Seachtaine, ach feicfidh muid sibh ar Long Beach Island nó in Esopus ar ball.
Mise le meas,
Liam D. Guidry
