    I looked up the parts of the word “fíorphráinneach” but it came out to be “Pure-urgent” is that correct? Or is there a better translation of that word. I get the gist of what the word is supposed to mean, but I’d like to have a more correct translation if there is one that isn’t so literal.

    Here is the sentence that it was taken from:
    “Bhí sé fíorphráinneach nach gcloisfeadh spiairí Chasa an scéal,…”

    I would say –

    extremely urgent

    fíor- tends to convey emphasis. Literally is means “Truly urgent”.
