I am somewhat new to this, having done some work by self-study. (I have studied Scots Gaelic a bit more formally, but there’s not enough overlap to be of help to me.)
I am scheduled to conduct a wedding in Ireland in a few weeks. I would like to find an Irish Gaelic wedding blessing. Is there anyone who can direct me to a good resource?

    Probably not this one:

Níl aon leigheas ar an ngrá ach an pósadh.

Go maire sibh bhur saol úr / nua

This is a pretty standard Irish wedding blessing. The “nua” variety sounds nicest to me, but I have seen both.

I have come across the phrase ‘Sliocht sleachta ar shliocht bhur sleachta’ (more or less ‘may your descendants have descendants of their own’) on the Internet, but I don’t know how authentic that is.

Thanks to all for your help. I’ll post and let you know how it went.
