Hi I am a second generation Irish poet. I have been widely published in journals and have just published my third collection Work Horses in the UK. I have just finished a short poem about my grandparents’ place in Mayo. I would love to find someone who could translate it into Irish for me. Alas my own Irish is not up to the job! I would then intend to publish both versions (probably in an Irish journal). The translator would of course be fully acknowledged. If anyone fancies honing their literary skills ‘as Gaeilge’ please let me know and I’ll send you a copy of the poem. It is only 45 words long – so not exactly an epic! David
