Hello Folks, newby here, arrived today. I have a couple requests. First “Go dtí mo anáil dheireanach.” I cannot find an audio version to hear this said properly, nor do I know for certain if it is correct in its grammar. Help on both fronts, and I would be much obliged! Any dialect will help, but if there is one that is particular to County Claire, that would be fantastic.

    Welcome!

I’m not the final authority on grammar, but I would suggest you need to contract “mo anáil”, so “Go dtí m’anáil dheireanach.” Otherwise it looks right to me.

There’s a pretty good online speech synthesizer for Irish at https://abair.ie/en/synthesis. You can play with different voices from different dialect areas.

Windows now also supports quite a lot of high-quality Irish language tools including reading text aloud. To a lesser extent you can use some of the same tools in Microsoft Office on Mac.

    Sláinte!
