Céard atá sé I gceist agat a dhéanamh tar éis na scoile? This was translated as What do you intend doing after school? I can’t get my arms around the translation. Can anyone help?

Like eadaoin says, “i gceist” generally translates into something like “in mind” or “at issue” (meaning the thing being discussed or that is pertinent) and is a common phrase.
