Yeah I noticed this recently. I haven’t seen it since I was a child, so I will probably have to re-watch it soon. I’m sure it will be a trip down memory lane.

I recommend The Secret of Kells (also available on Netflix stream) as well, for anyone looking for a fun Irish film experience. There are a few bits of the language sprinkled throughout as well. The creators of that also did a movie called Song of the Sea (also about selkies) but I haven’t seen it yet.

Wow, I used to watch that film a lot when I was 3-5 years old. I don’t think I’ve seen it in a decade though.
