Scanning Irish

Anyone have any experience scanning Irish and any app which they would recommend.

Any time I try to Scan Irish text and change in to a document format. it miss reads the Fada and can really end up jumbling up the word.

Try setting the langauge to French if irish is not an option.

Just in case anyone else should be looking.

After much experimentation it seems the Best option with freeOCR on windows, with French Langauge selected, Gets most the text right, minus the odd Capital M and ú at the beginning and end of texts. Couldnt find anything useful and free for Mac.
