I’ve been looking for a Scrabble game in Irish. I looked on Amazon and the cost is $76.00!! Others sites are also expensive

It’s only a board game. Does anyone know where to get this at a discount price.,

Please RSVP
Thanks

Check it out at the Oideas Gael bookshop. It is 30 euros (about $45 plus shipping)

There’s also a (free) digital version which Kevin Scannell and I did, you can download it here.

I’m going to Oideas Geal next week. Will take a look. Thanks.

Also, I tried to download the online version mentoned in these replies. It is Scottish Gaelic! Does that matter as far as playing it matters.

It won’t download with Safari.

Any suggestions?

Grma.

Odd that it should come up in Gàidhlig but if you go to Roghainnean > Roghainnean you can set the dictionary file (under Faidhle an fhaclair) to irish.dic and if you hit the Roghainnean tab on the far right, you can set the user interface to Irish too.

As far as Safari goes, no idea I’m afraid, it ought to work but it’s not a browser I use much so I’m not sure why it would object. The Mac (assuming Mac because of your Safari question) file is here, maybe a direct download works better?

😆
now I’m happy. Was able to download and choose Irish Gaelic too. I used a different browser, Chrome to download & that worked.
Note from Safari said it could not download direct from an IOS. whatever that means.

that being said, I have no one to play with.😨 Anyone want to volunteer for an Irish game of Scrabble with me?
I want to learn how to play this so I can invite some classmates of mine too.

Thanks.

I think it’s awesome that you set it up digitally Kevin & Azberta. Now I just need to learn the ropes.
