Tá trí dhuilleog ar seamróg, ach cad a bhfuil an focal leis an seamair le ceithre dhuilleog?
    B’fhéidir “seamair s(h)onais”?

    GRMA a Sheáinín!
Nuair a chuardaigh mé leis an tearma sin, fuair mé torthai ar an líonra faoi deireadh. Chuardaigh mé leis an tearma Béarla gan tairbhe.
Ceist eile: An bhfuil “seamair (le) ceithre dhuilleog” ceart le “four-leaf clover” nó an bhfuil rud eigin uaim?

Níl a fhios agam. B’fhéidir go mbeidh duine eile ag smaoineamh.

If I understand correctly what you’re trying to say here, it should be “seamair áidh”.

As far as I know, the word “seamróg” can mean either three or four leaves. I don’t know if there is a more exact word for the four-leaved variety. In any case, if you wanted to spell it out as you have, the “le” is not needed.
