Sorry – they’re all wrong! 😆 That verb takes the preposition ‘le’ (as does ‘abair’ – ‘say/tell’).

So: Éist liom; tá mé ag éisteacht leat; caithfidh tú éisteacht leis an cheol seo etc.

Yeah, there’s no one single way in Irish to translate English ⟨to⟩ — it all depends on the particular idiom in Irish, i.e., Irish doesn’t usually replace English word-for-word and has instead its own way of saying the whole thing.

E.g., English in one case might use no preposition — ‘tell me a story’ — where Irish would use one, as ‘inis dom scéal.’
