Hi

Could someone please explain this sentence:

‘Níor thug tú píosa den cháca dó’.

I thought ‘Níor’ means ‘not’?

It means “you didn’t give a piece of the cake to him”.

Thank you. That is what I thought it was.

Google said ‘You gave him a piece of cake’, which did not make any sense, even to me as a beginner.
