    Dia dhaoibh a chairde,

    Tá dhá ceist agam:

    I was just wondering whether “tráthnóna” also means “afternoon” as well as “evening”?

    And does an initial r in Munster become slender in certain contexts? And if it does, is this when the preceding word ended on a vowel, or when another consonant would have lenited for a grammatical reason in the same position?
