Nevermind! It’s back up and running! ðŸ‘ðŸ¼ðŸ‘ðŸ¼ðŸ‘🼠Maybe it was under website maintenance or something that day. 🤷ðŸ»â€â™€ï¸ Needless to say, I panicked, cause it’s such an important website for us! ðŸ‘ðŸ¼
RosieParticipantGrma, a Hugo. 😊
RosieParticipantI’m not sure either (since I’m from America), but according to https://www.runningimp.co.uk/standard-award-ribbons.html , it seems like yellow might be next. 🤷ðŸ»â€â™€ï¸ Not sure, but Ádh Mór, a Chara!
RosieParticipantHi! According to https://corkirish.wordpress.com/verb-conjugation/insim/ …, Yes! ðŸ‘🼠It’s “inseann tú”/”inseann sé”. They don’t seem to list “sí,” but I’m assuming it’s probably the same. 😊
RosieParticipantThank you both (Hugo and Labhrás) for all your info/help! (And for remembering my Ulster preference, Hugo! 😊). I’ve already completed and posted my “McDonald’s Words in Irish” collage on Instagram a couple of days ago using “tigh,” and I’m pretty really happy with it! ðŸ‘🼠(I made sure to thank you, Labhrás, for your help in the caption. ☺ï¸)
Speaking of which, if you’re not already, I think both of you, as well as some others who frequently answer questions on Daltaí, would be great resource material/Irish-language spreaders on Instagram…especially for the younger generation. Y’all know so much! If you ever are on there, my page is @rosie.oleary93; I’d love to follow you! ☘ï¸
RosieParticipantGo raibh maith agat, a Labhrás! Very helpful, and great idea to about adding “tigh”! 😃
RosieParticipantThanks! ðŸ‘🼠And luckily the site finally up and running again here too! 😃
RosieParticipantThat’s so cool. I’ve never heard of that till I read your post. I did some digging myself, and could only find a couple of YouTube snips of it. I did find, however, a post on Reddit by someone who says they actually contacted TG4, and that they had said that those versions were for broadcasting “internal” use only, and that they actually currently don’t even have the rights to broadcast them anymore. And that TG4 was considering getting the Irish dubbed version put in as a language option in upcoming dvds (maybe only in Ireland?), but nothing seems to have come of that yet. 🤷ðŸ»â€â™€ï¸
RosieParticipantThis is VERY helpful! Thank you!
RosieParticipantGo raibh MÍLE maith agat! 😃
RosieParticipantThis was so helpful! Grma, a Chara. ðŸ‘ðŸ¼
RosieParticipantThanks. I don’t remember the why the “ar” now. 🙃 I just remember I saw an example where something that meant “for” someone was translated as a form of “ar” and it confused me. 🤷ðŸ»â€â™€ï¸
RosieParticipantMakes total sense! Grma, a Hugo! ðŸ‘ðŸ¼
RosieParticipantOh! Thank you!
