Deireadh Seachtaine (Bealtaine 2014) Esopus, NY
After a long cold (and snowy) winter we returned to Esopus. We were all surprised when we saw how busy the Brothers and their helpers had been. So many changes and all for the better.
We had a great showing for the weekend, with a lot of old and new faces, all there to show off what they’ve been learning back at home.
Ahh, a quiet place to have a nice conversation (in Irish, of course).
We had a lot of great musicians who entertained everyone throughout the weekend. Pádraig & Pádraigín were there to supervise.
Rath was hard at work in the Shop and Seán was eager to buy the books and shirts.
Big news! Esopus now has an internet café. No, they don’t sell lattes, YET!
Now how does it go? 1,2,3 or a haon, a dó, try?
The pond looks marvelous!
Daddy, I want to learn to dance as well. I promise I won’t step on your toes again.
Seán is always there to help with a little one-on-one.
Nap time!
Now, what did Donncha say about this dance? Left – Right, or was it 1,2,3 – 1,2,3?
OMG! I’m knackered.
