Help with Corrlá and Leathscór

I need help translating this two words. They are in a book an uncle work in the following sentences

Corrlá ar scoil agus corrlá sa mbaile.

Bhí píosa deas talún acu, cúpla bó agus leathscór caorach.

The book is called

Nachiomaí cor sa saol

i know the last of it is situation in life but expect Nachiomaí is a name?

“Corrlá” is a compound of “corr-” (“an odd, some”) and “lá” (“day”), thus meaning “an odd day”, “some day”. Same thing with “leathscór” which means “half a score” or “ten” (“leath” + “scór”).
As for you last question, it’s two separate words, “nach” (“isn’t it?”) and “iomaí” (“many”). So the entire title would translate something like “Aren’t there many twists in life?”
