Is there a commonly accepted Gaeilge spelling for Péig Sayers’ surname? I’m thinking not as both her tombstone and the Gaeilge Wikipedia page use Sayers, but I want to be sure…

Yes. Sayers!

(Since that is what she chose to be called. It is/was not uncommon in the Gaeltacht for People to use the English version of their surname, but people normally would have been called by their given name and their fathers/mothers name)
