Note: This proverb is akin to the American one, “Wishes won’t wash dishes.” Some people may be daunted by a particular task. While it is wise to plan ahead, to think of the best way to accomplish a task, it can be foolish to dwell upon it. Pondering an unpleasant task only makes it worse.
