    Dear All,

    My Civil War reenacting unit, 69th New York, Co. C., are going to be donating flowers for the New York Irish Brigade Monument on the Gettysburg Battlefield.
    We will be adding a card and I would like it to have an Irish blessing.
    I have seen one the says something like;

    May they sleep in the company of saints, and their sons and daughters with them.

    If this is the actual blessing could someone please translate it into Irish.

    Also if anyone knows any other suitable, one line, blessings I would love to see those as well.

    GRMA

    Joseph

    Go gcodlaí siad i gcomhluadar na naomh agus a gclann in éineacht leo.

    That’s how I’d say it, but wait for corrections.
